I love a man who loves bees. So I painted him as a bee, and surrounded him with beautiful flowers and honey! You can't really tell from the pictures, but I layered the epoxy so it has a kind of 3-D tactile honey feel when you touch it. You can feel it dripping down the picture.
There is an additional painting within this painting! Very different for my work. A 3-D hexagonal honeycomb cell stands out from the rest with real ambit point rocks and a partial geode slice.
